Bibles for South East Asia is a not-for-profit, charitable organisation based in New Zealand and Tamil Nadu, India for the sole purpose of spreading the written Word of God throughout South East Asia.

Bible distribution to India with a goal to distribute 100,000 Bibles throughout South East Asia by the end of 2010. It was founded by Andrew King in 2001 in response to the great need for the Bible to be available to those who, for a variety of reasons, not least of which is poverty, are unable to obtain their own copy.

Andrew has lived for many years in South East Asia, principally on the great sub-continent of India, and knows first hand the need that exists for the written Word of God to be easily available for all people everywhere.

We believe that the Word of God is 'quick and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword' (Hebrews 4:12)1 so that it will always 'accomplish the thing it is sent to do' (Isaiah 55: 9-11) which is to reveal the true nature of God and His wonderful plan of salvation for every person on earth.  However, not every one has access to this 'book of God'.  So, that's where Bibles for South East Asia fits in -to fill a very real need in making The Book of Books available to the people of South East Asia.

To that end we offer ourselves as your servants for this task.

Others have also caught the vision and we are delighted to acknowledge and welcome Bibles4Africa who have established themselves independently of Bibles for South East Asia to achieve similar goals on the vast continent of Africa.  You can find out more about the African campaign by contacting Sydney Francis or Leslie Hessel via their web site at: www.bibles4africa.com.  While we are not organisationally associated with bibles4africa.com we are thrilled to be associated with them and to be sharing the vision in this way.
